• Local Storage: Any media or documents (e.g., photos) you create or import in the app are stored locally on your device’s document directory, which you can access via the Files/Photos app on iOS. We rely on Apple’s built-in security features to protect these files.

 

3. Data Usage and Sharing

• Third-Party Sharing: The only time your resume data may be shared with third parties is if you choose to share it via the system share sheet (Activity View Controller). This lets you select third-party apps (e.g., cloud storage, messaging apps) to send your data.

• No Control After Sharing: Once your data is shared with third-party apps, we have no control over how it is handled. Use these external services at your own discretion.

• No Automatic Sharing: By default, we do not send your personal data to any external parties.

 

4. AI Data Processing

• Purpose: This App uses AI-based features (e.g., summary generation). In doing so, the app transmits **non-PII** you provide (such as education, experience, and other career-related data) to an external AI service (ChatGPT) via a secure API call.

• Processing Only: Your data is strictly used for resume enhancement. It is not stored, sold, or retained on our servers.

• Immediate Return: The AI-generated results are immediately returned to the app for your use. We do not store or log these requests/responses in any way that identifies you personally.

• No PII Used: Your personally identifiable information is **not** used within this AI functionality.

• Disclaimer: We partner with well-known providers (Cloudflare & OpenAI) for AI functionality. Any use or misuse of these **non-PII** data by these third parties is beyond our control. If you have concerns about how they handle data, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

• Local-Only Storage: Your PII and documents remain on your device. Your name, email, or any other PII is not stored, shared, or sold by us.

• Photo Handling: This App never uploads your photos or media files to external servers.

• Security Measures: We rely on Apple’s built-in security features to safeguard your locally stored data. Any communication with AI servers is encrypted (HTTPS).

• Deletion: Since any PII saved by us, when you delete the app all of the data within will be deleted permenantly.

• Anonymous Analytics: We may collect non-personal usage data (e.g., feature usage, performance metrics) to improve our services.

• Automatic Deletion: This usage data does not include personal identifiers and is automatically deleted on a monthly basis.
